Transport Canada Issues Car Seat Recall
From the Canadian Press wire:
Transport Canada issues recall for three types of child car seats
OTTAWA (CP) — Three brands of car seats are the subject of a Transport Canada recall.
The government agency says Cosco, Eddie Bauer and Safety 1st car seats have a strap that can loosen which could lead to a child being injured if there’s a car accident.
Dorel Juvenile Group which makes the seats will provide a replacement strap.
More than 314,000 car seats were sold in Canada between November 2003 to December 2005.
Transport Canada says consumers who completed and returned their registration card will receive notice by mail.
Those who have not sent in the registration card should contact Dorel Distribution Canada at their toll free number.
