7 P’s: my first meme
For that tiny smattering of people who actually have read this blog, you’ll know that I’ve not been at it for very long. But it gives me something to do, and as an upshot, I’ve found some great new blogs to follow as time allows. One of my newfound treasures is I’m Not Hannah; I love Heather’s writing and for the most part think she’s an offshoot of my own personality (despite the fact that she vehemently despises the book I Love You Forever). So she’s tagged me for a meme: 7 P’s. I really could just about copy and paste her answers with great accuracy here, but maybe then I’d miss the fun of my first meme. Here goes:
My Passion: Um, anything in my life? Honestly, I tend to get pretty passionate about almost anything that I find appealing. But for the sake of an answer, obviously my children, above all else. And I’m still terribly in love (with a fervor I fear I’ll never again experience) with a man who’s been dead for two years.
My Purpose: My life has been turned upside-down over the past 2-1/2 years, really making me rethink and question what I thought had been my purpose. Right now, I’m living to honour my late husband: giving our daughters a good life as a sole parent and working diligently as a volunteer in the fight against cancer.
My Pursuit: I’ve started a list of things I want to do before I die. I want to go to Switzerland. I want to learn to tango. I’ve always wanted to play the violin. I’d love to have high tea at a proper hotel. There are always a lot of different wishes I have, constantly in flux depending on what’s going on in my life. The only constant is that I want to be loved.
My Position: I’ve been feeling rather benevolent lately… I hope others would agree.
My Pummeling: I can be pretty hard on myself about all manners of things, but if I could have a super-power, I would really stick it to people who litter – especially people who throw cigarette butts out their car windows. I hate that. My super-power would be to fill their car full to the brim with stinky, filthy disgusting used-up cigarette butts. Take that.
My Progress: I’m a work in progress, and probably always will be; just trying to be the best me I can be. It’s not as easy as you might think.
My Personality: ENFJ, if you’re into that sort of thing (I am).
Well, that’s me in a nutshell (or perhaps I should say P-pod for this ‘p’ meme). Interesting to do, taking longer than I thought, so I’ll forgo tagging anyone here, but feel free to add links to your 7 P’s via the comments.
