I hadn’t wanted to really pass any judgements on the new CBS show Kid Nation until I saw it, despite the controversies. Twenty minutes in, I do not like it and have changed the channel. I personally don’t know anyone who would sign off on this contract and send their kids away for over a month with very limited adult supervision. But apparently some parents had no problem with it. I hope after seeing the show tonight, they’ve rethought the choices they made (if they haven’t already). It broke my heart seeing the little 8 year old boy sobbing that he thought he was too young to be there.

I hope this show gets pulled before it’s done the full run. Granted, the kids and their family and friends are probably excited to see it, but I am honestly wondering: do others actually find this entertaining?
